Blayney Preschool Inc. is a not for profit community-based organisation that commenced operation in 1975. We are a one unit centre with 26 children in attendance each day, and a management committee consisting completely of parents. This committee is responsible for the overall management, employment of staff, and all licencing and legal obligations.
Blayney Preschool is an accredited centre with the Department of Education and Communities, receiving an overall service rating of both “Meeting National Quality Standard” and “Exceeding National Quality Standard” for our relationships with children (QA5).
We recognise the importance of the early learning years, and are committed to providing high quality educational programs for your children.
Blayney Preschool operates from Monday to Friday, between the hours of 8:30am and 4:00pm. We follow the guidelines of the NSW Department of Education, and are closed for all designated NSW School Holidays and Public Holidays.
Having highly qualified and experienced staff is of the utmost importance to us at Blayney Preschool. We believe in providing a quality education, which is shown through our commitment to being above the minimum requirement for university trained teachers. Our staff are our most valuable asset, and that’s why every child attending will have a university-trained teacher, diploma or Cert 3 trained educator.
We employ a total of 10 staff, with all our teachers and assistants having been with us for over 8 years. Our director and educational leader joined the preschool in 2017, and have ensured that the team is well supported and valued at all times. The commitment from our staff is what makes us stand out within the community, as the long-term associations with families make us shine.
Blayney Preschool prides itself in our team and how well we work together to provide quality learning and education to all children at our centre. We also endeavour to encourage and support educators to continuously improve their knowledge and skills.
