We’re a not for profit community-based organisation that commenced operation in 1975. We recognise the importance of the early learning years and we are committed to providing high quality educational programs.
Our Philosophy
Blayney Preschool is committed to high quality care and Early Childhood Education for children by providing a secure child-focused environment which encourages learning that is engaging and builds on the children’s knowledge, culture, skills and interests.
We aim to work in partnerships with families with qualified, caring staff to ensure every child and family shares a sense of belonging to our preschool environment and community. We abide by the Australian Early Childhood Code of Ethics and are guided by the principles and practices outlined in the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.
Our Program
Blayney Preschool aims to provide a program that follows the Early Years Learning Framework. Our program has a specific emphasis on providing a play-based learning environment for children that is safe, nurturing and interesting. We recognise the importance of communication and language (including early literacy and numeracy), and social and emotional development.
Our goal is to extend and enrich children’s learning and maximise their potential and develop a foundation for future success in learning.
